Your prayers are working – thank you Jesus!!! Today is day three of the steroid decrease where we usually start seeing negative side effects from the weaning. Guess what? No negative side effects today!!!!

This is a huge answer to prayer. We need just as much prayer to cover Kayleigh and her body again tomorrow and Tuesday. If we can get through those days unscathed then she will be ready for another decrease. So please, keep praying those big prayers!

Tomorrow our day starts at 12:30 with an EKG to check her heart (one of the meds she us taking can cause heart issues) and then she has lab draws again. Because of the lab draws we have started moving her chemo up to earlier in the day. Unfortunately, that makes things so much worse for Kayleigh. She is awake for the tummy ache part more and that stinks. But after tomorrow’s draws we should be able to move her dose closer to bed time. Please pray that her stomach tolerates the medicine well tomorrow and that she isn’t miserable!

It’s been wonderful to be at home but I am looking forward to going back to Memphis. My favorite thing this weekend was getting to go to church to worship and have my spirit refilled. How appropriate the sermon was about encouraging others through faith. I don’t know why God has put us on this path but I keep praying that our story will encourage people each day. These verses just confirmed in my spirit that indeed, trouble will come, we just have to keep the faith!

1 Thessalonians 3:2-3
2 and we sent Timothy to visit you. He is our brother and God’s co-worker in proclaiming the Good News of Christ. We sent him to strengthen you, to encourage you in your faith, 3 and to keep you from being shaken by the troubles you were going through. But you know that we are destined for such troubles.

Until Tomorrow,
‘Carrow💜
