Good evening friends,

It’s quiet at our house tonight. Kayleigh has had another pretty good day. She has slept much more today but her vital signs are holding steady. Speech, hearing and swallowing continue to be persistent problems as well as right side weakness. As the tumor continues to grow she continues to lose control of more and more. Facial expressions are non existent, she cannot sit up on her own, yet when she is awake, her mind is still clear.

I know it is the multitude of prayer warriors asking for peace that keeps Kayleigh comfortable. With each change I fear she may become upset – but God is good and she continues to press forward in strength and good spirits. So again today was say thank you Lord for another day. One of snuggles, Christmas lights and being a family.

We are thankful for each and every person and prayer uttered on Kayleigh’s behalf.

Psalm 62:5-8
5 Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. 6 He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. 7 My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. 8 O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge. Interlude

Until tomorrow,
‘Carrow💜

Hunter Mears is in my class. Jamey Cole Mears son. We have been praying since last May I believe. The children ask everyday, Mrs Harter, how is Kayleigh? I do not sugar coat. I share with them. We are a Christian school in Hueytown. We have all covered her in prayer. God is good. I teach 8 and 9 year olds. Close to Kayleigh’s age. They love her and do not personally know her. You have touched my heart with your unwavering love for the Lord.
    Continuing to pray always.

Praying for all of you to have peace and to God to keep you wrapped in his arms during this difficult time. Savor every minute you have as a family. There are many prayers going up from people like me who have never met you but feel like we are on this journey with you. Your posts are uplifting as you share with us this journey and your faith in God! God Bless you for sharing this difficult journey with all of us! Much love and prayers to all of you!

God bless you and give you peace today.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trust in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart exults, and with my song, I shall thank Him.
    Psalm 28:7

May you continue to experience God’s amazing peace that passes all human understanding. September 2014 my only child was diagnosed with MPNST…malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor. May 5, 2015 he went to be with the Lord about a month before his 21st birthday. I am still sad and will probably have an ache in my heart untill I get to heaven. But I can trully say…”to God be the glory, great things He has done”
“Prayers for Kayleigh” landed in my news feed earlier this week, I am currently reading through each and every post. And I am strengthened and inspired.
Thank you for sharing your story. I pray God will give this brave young lady the grace to go through this!
